What Crux Faith keeps, and why
A faith journal holds some of the most personal things a person writes. This page says plainly what Crux Faith keeps and what it does with it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, an optional first name, a scrambled (hashed) form of your password, and when you signed up.
- Your journal: what you write and tick: prayers, reflections, daily logs, study answers, reading progress and saved verses. It is stored in its own file, separate from every other account.
- Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe handles your card. We keep only the Stripe customer and subscription ids and the subscription's status, never your card number.
What we don't do
- We don't read your journal, sell it, share it or use it for advertising.
- We don't put tracking pixels in emails.
- The installed app caches its own pages and scripts so it opens quickly. It never stores your journal on your device.
Emails
A welcome email, password reset links when you ask for one, and the daily reminder only if you turn it on in Account.
Your choices
Export everything you have written from Account at any time. Closing your account from Account deletes your journal permanently and cancels any subscription.
